where is 2023? 'a bike journey'

been a year since i started my “bengkel” journey. now look at me. still broken. but faster.

bored with maintaining servers so decided to pick up a 2 stroke addiction, since the past year been learning to change oil, tune carbs, engine overhauls and welding. for lack of a better i became the ultimate blue collar worker.

bought this late 2023, as a “project” bike. turns out to be the most reliable shit i’ve ever owned (with proper maintenance) this guy is my go to touring bike;

bougt this early 2022, as a daily bike, turns out to be my “project” bike. this has seen weird ass custom modification

  • SIP “seated” 20:20 carb into random PWK 24:24 carb into SIP “standing” 24:24 carb with reamerd ventury
  • 10 inch wheels -> 11 inch wheels –> 12 inch wheels with disc brakes –> 10 inch with disc brakes (wheel sizes affects gear ratio which affects speed and acceleration)
  • thousands of seat iteration, from standard model, to a one “horse” seater, finally to a king and queen model which i made from scartch
  • exhausts! from standard very calm and economical model to a big box, big bore, then a custom side exhaust from purbalingga, finally a custom made to compensate block size standard model (bobokan sendiri)
  • gear ratio, from custom PS Strada Ratio, to the infamous Excel ratio, then to a standard Exclusive 2 ratio with reduced 4th gear teeth which is optimized for speed.

RX-King 135cc 2004 my “broken heart” tool. i use this whenever i am “extra” mad. this guy is a fucking missile.

upgraded the carb from a standard 26:26 Mikuni to a 28:28 PWK UMA Racing carb, tuned out the needle for a better speed and compensate the acceleration using a custom made ratio.

i changed the exhaust from a standard RX exhaust to a custom Bobokan Bandung “Boban” Nuklir. Loud as hell, but it satisfies me.

the machine is reliable at high speeds, but sometimes due to a great vibration from an old crankshaft much of the body nuts and bolts are loose. this gave me headache although i compensate it with some 222 loctites.

still learning on this piss missile, really bad at acceleration but when it goes to the powerband. holy hell. all hell breaks loose. decided to buy this eventhough this bike are famous for “jamet” status. idgaf. still fast and probably a marvel in 2 stroke engineering (i’m referring to superkips)
